Medical Director and Assistant Professor, University of Kansas Medical Center

Denton is a Family Physician and a Medical Director of Innovation and Clinical Informatics within The University of Kansas Health System where he’s championing virtual care and mobile health projects and driving the digital health strategy forward. He’s also an Assistant Professor and works with the Inter-professional Teaching Clinic with students and resident physicians. He is also active in global health organizations that engage learners and helps to promote public health and sustainable primary care around the world.


He earned bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry, Spanish, and Chemistry at Kansas State University, a Master’s in Public Health at Drexel University in Philadelphia, a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed Family Medicine Residency at Unity Health Care in Washington D.C.
