Beverly Hancock is the Senior Director for Leadership Development for the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL), leading a team of staff and expert faculty in developing educational resources, programs and online learning for nurse leaders. She has presented widely and published on the topics of environments of excellence, professional governance, Magnet Recognition, and leadership development. Prior to AONL she worked at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL where she held a variety of clinical, administrative, and professional development roles, including Magnet Program Director. She has also been an educator and consultant for the ANCC Magnet Recognition® Program.
