Dr. Tammie Chang is the Medical Director of MutliCare Provider Wellness in Tacoma, Washington, a board-certified Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist, and co-founder of Pink Coat, MD an innovative, digital platform designed to help women physicians thrive.
At a critical time in Tammie’s career, she experienced debilitating burnout. She was exhausted in every way—emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually—while carrying immense pressure and was desperate for a way out. She sought help and solutions to survive and vowed to dedicate her life to supporting other women physicians thrive. Her contributions to Pink Coat, MD’s safe community and curated programs have helped countless of women physicians and are hailed as “life-saving,” “life-changing, “extraordinary,” deeply moving,” and trailblazing.”
A graduate from Brown University, Brown Medical School, she completed her combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at University of Massachusetts, and her Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She is an ICF certified Executive Leadership coach, authored How to Thrive as A Woman Physician, Boundaries for Women Physicians, serves as the Washington State Physician Branch President of American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA), and Program Director of ELEVATE, AMWA’s National Leadership Development Program for Women Physicians.
