Connie Barden is chief clinical officer of AACN.  She provides strategic leadership that drives the development of clinical practice resources and ensures that standards and guidelines meet the rigor of a rapidly changing healthcare environment. In her CCO role she also serves as the executive leader of AACN’s Strategic Advocacy Team. She is a past president of AACN and led the task force that framed the landmark “AACN Standards for Establishing and Sustaining Healthy Work Environments: A Journey to Excellence.”
